Among the first to have access to this technology is Samsung that will enable the WiFi Direct after receiving certification from the WiFi Alliance. The license was obtained by the GT-I9000, commonly known as the S Galaxy.
WiFi Direct allows you to exchange files and information with other phones instead of bluetooth. There are many advantages: speed up to 250 Mb / s, works in a radius of 200 meters and consumes 40% less battery. Soon we will have the certifications for many other models.
